If you are in the mood for a BBQ, there are a number of great beachfront BBQ's in Victor Harbor that are free, try on the Esplanade in Victor Harbor, on either side of the Granite Island Causeway. Or Kent Reserve at the end of Franklin Parade in Encounter Bay, which also features a large new playground for the kids.
Why not get out and enjoy a hike, with so many options right on this units doorstep. You can take a walk down Franklin Parade or on the Beach, take a walk up the Bluff and take in the worthwhile views, or from Petrel Cove across to Kings Head, then there is the iconic Granite Island. All of these locations and including your balcony will have amazing sunset and sunrises! If you have a bike, there is a fantastic bikeway running from Whalers all the way through to Goolwa!
For those who've come to fish the Boat ramp is located right near the Units on the corner of Solway and Franklin, $7 for 24 hours (takes credit, paywave and coins). Great facility, great fishing, best to get there Early during tuna season.
If you cant be bothered cooking and fine dining is your thing, look no further than Whalers, within walking distance from the unit. Great service, and good food, with bay views from your table. If you prefer something more family oriented and still within walking distance, Pa's Cafe and the Beach house with wood fired pizza are other options.
